SHOCK prides itself on a fair and unbiased marking system.
The 5 judges will score each entry out of 100. The highest and lowest scores will be thrown out. The 3 remaining scores will be summed and averaged to produce the final score out of 100.
The judges will score each entry based on the following criteria:
In the event of a tie, the judges scores will be summed and averaged to produce a final score out of 100. This applies to ties within a category and overall standings.

In the event of a single entry in a category, the entry will be announced and recognized with an Emerald, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze award.
In the event of more than 3 entries in a category, entries that do not place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the category will be announced and recognized with an Emerald, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze award.

The top 10 scoring routines in each category (SOLO, DUET/TRIO, GROUP and LINE), across all age divisions (MINI, JUNIOR, INTERMEDIATE, and SENIOR) will be announced and presented with trophies. The top 3 scoring routines will receive cash awards.
